
Tip of the Week: Use raw cacao in recipes instead of cocoa. Raw cacao has 20-30x more antioxidants than green tea, is high in serotonin (the happy hormone!), high in omega 3 fatty acids and is one of the most magnesium rich foods. Try it in 5 ingredient chocolate pudding, Very Berry Dessert in a Hurry, and Healthy and Sweet Breakfast Pâté.

This curriculum is based on the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine’s successful 21-Day Vegan Kickstart program. Depending on one’s perspective, the Kickstart is about losing weight, maintaining a healthy weight, or simply embracing an overall healthful diet. Seven classes have been developed, but it can also be abbreviated to five classes. The first class can be a stand-alone program and provides an excellent overview and introduction for a site that wants only a single class.
